  • Davenport University
    • Marian D. Wynalda Teaching & Learning Institute: $200,000 - 5-year amortized grant to establish programs for faculty support, training, and “conclave” activites for university faculty system-wide
    • Mable Engle School of Nursing: $250,000 – 3-year amortized grant to capitalize new degree-training programs for nursing in Grand Rapids
    • 2004 Excellence in Business Dinner – Support for university scholarship endowment
    • Annual Golf Tournament:$500 – Support for university scholarship endowment
  • Camp New Day ( Ishpeming, MI): $2,000
    To support camperships and activities for children of inmates in Michigan prisons

  • Indian Trails Camp: $30,000
    For maintenance, equipment, and training on the ropes/challenge course

  • Inner City Christian Foundation: $40,000
    Support for Family Haven, which furnishes temporary apartments for families in transition to permanent housing; and educational programs for families becoming first-time homeowners.
  • Potter’s House School: $28,000
    ‘Reading Recovery’ grade-appropriate reading skills program
  • Willow Farm Therapeutic Riding Center ( Marquette, MI): $7,000
    Horseback experiences for special needs riders
  • Planned Parenthood of West Michigan: $2,000
    Reproductive education
  • Ottawa Hills High School Scholarship Fund: $2,000
    Davenport Family memorial scholarship
  • Christian Counseling Center: $7,500
